Reiki Practitioner

Who can receive Reiki?
Everyone. Because of its non-invasive, safe nature, Reiki can be administered to adults and children alike as a complementary session with any other approach.

What conditions benefit most from Reiki?
Many conditions benefit from Reiki. Bold items indicate those with which I have experience.

  • Alzheimer's disease
  • Arthritis
  • Autoimmune disorders
  • Benign tumours
  • Bone break (including surgery)
  • Childbirth
  • Emotional difficulties
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Insomnia
  • Intestinal disorders
  • Migraines
  • Multiple sclerosis (early stages)
  • Pain
  • Skin wounds
  • Some forms of cancer
  • Stress disorders

Reiki can be helpful to people before and after surgery, and it can ease the processes of giving birth and dying .

Reiki and Children
Children love Reiki. Due to their open and tuned-in natures, they are usually able to feel the soothing flow of energy entering and moving around in their bodies. They are more open to the unknown and are less hampered by what they "should" be feeling. As a result, they easily work with the energy and assist their own healing. Personally, I have worked with children with broken bones; bronchial difficulties, including pneumonia, asthma and chest colds; intestinal disturbances; and emotional difficulties. Here are some of their comments: "It's like a warm bath" , "I like it on my tummy", "You're putting me to sleep", "I want some REIKI!!"
